Version1.1, effective 23 October 2026 (changing plans updated)

A. The Service

A.1The Service Provider gives the Subscriber access to the Service for the plan shown on the account.
A.2The Service is provided as it stands at any time. The Service Provider may add, change or remove features to improve it, and will tell the Subscriber in the app's What's New before removing a feature they use.
A.3Each account is for one business. Logins must not be shared with anyone outside that business.

B. Free Trial

B.1A new account starts with a free trial. No payment details are needed for the trial.
B.2When the trial ends, the account becomes read-only until the Subscriber confirms they want to continue. Nothing is deleted.
B.3The Service Provider may extend or end a trial early by agreement with the Subscriber.

C. Fees and Billing

C.1The fee for each plan is shown in the Key Terms and in the app under Settings. Fees include GST.
C.2Fees are reviewed from time to time. The Service Provider will give at least 30 days' notice by email before a fee changes. If the Subscriber doesn't agree to the new fee, they can cancel before it starts.
C.3To start a paid subscription, the Subscriber pays the first month by PayID to 0438 502 582, using their business name as the reference. After that, the Service Provider emails a tax invoice each month in advance, due within 24 hours of the invoice being sent.
C.4If an invoice is still unpaid 72 hours after it is sent, the Service Provider may pause the account (read-only) until it is paid. The Subscriber can still view and download their data while paused.
C.5Fees already paid are not refunded for part months, except where Australian Consumer Law requires it.

D. Changing Plans

D.1The Subscriber can choose to move up or down a plan at any time in the app.
D.2Moving up a plan starts straight away. The Service Provider invoices the difference between the two plans for the rest of the current billing month, worked out by the number of days left, and the new fee applies from the next monthly invoice. The app shows the amount before the Subscriber confirms.
D.3Moving down a plan starts automatically at the beginning of the Subscriber's next billing month, and the lower fee applies from that month's invoice. Until then, the current plan stays in place. During the free trial, any change is immediate and there is no charge.
D.4Moving down a plan may switch off features. Data entered in those features is kept and comes back if the Subscriber moves up again.

E. Cancelling

E.1The Subscriber can cancel at any time in the app or by email, and keeps full use of the Service until the end of the month they have paid for. The Service Provider can cancel by giving 30 days' notice by email, or straight away if the Subscriber seriously breaches these terms.
E.2When that paid month ends, the account is read-only for 30 days so the Subscriber can view and download their data. After that, the login no longer works.
E.3The Subscriber's data is kept after access ends until the Service Provider deletes it. The Subscriber can ask for it to be deleted at any time, and the Service Provider will confirm by email once it is done.

F. The Subscriber's Data

F.1Everything the Subscriber enters into the Service belongs to the Subscriber. The Service Provider does not sell it, share it for marketing, or use it for anything except running and supporting the Service.
F.2The Service Provider only looks at a Subscriber's data when the Subscriber asks for help with it, or when it is needed to fix a fault or keep the Service secure.
F.3The Subscriber is responsible for the personal information they enter about their own clients, including having their clients' consent and meeting their own privacy obligations.
F.4The Service keeps nightly backups of every account for 14 days. The Subscriber should also download their own copy regularly (Settings, Account, Download Backup).

G. The Subscriber's Responsibilities

G.1Keep their password and authenticator app private, and tell the Service Provider straight away if they think someone else has used their login.
G.2Use the Service lawfully, and not try to access other accounts, copy or resell the Service, or interfere with how it runs.
G.3The Service is a tool to help run a practice. It does not give tax, accounting or legal advice, and the Subscriber remains responsible for their own work and deadlines, including anything they track in the BAS Portal or reminders.

H. Availability

H.1The Service Provider aims to keep the Service available at all times but doesn't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It relies on third-party hosting (Supabase) and internet access outside the Service Provider's control.
H.2Planned updates happen with as little disruption as possible. If the Service is unavailable for more than 3 days in a row, the Subscriber can ask for a credit for that time.

I. Liability

I.1Nothing in these terms excludes rights the Subscriber has under Australian Consumer Law.
I.2Otherwise, the Service Provider's total liability to the Subscriber for anything relating to the Service is limited to the fees the Subscriber paid in the 3 months before the claim.
I.3The Service Provider is not liable for indirect loss, such as lost profit or lost clients, or for loss caused by the Subscriber's own actions, such as sharing a login.

J. General

J.1The Service Provider may update these terms. The Subscriber will be asked to accept the new version in the app before they keep using it. If they don't agree, they can cancel under section E.
J.2The Service and its design, features and code belong to the Service Provider. The Subscriber gets a right to use it while their account is active, nothing more.
J.3These terms are governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.
